Sarah Gertrude (Liebson) Millin 1889–1968, South African writer. The first of her novels about colonial and racial problems in South Africa is Dark River (1920). Later novels include God's Stepchildren (1924), What Hath a Man? (1938), The King of the Bastards (1949), and Two Bucks without Hair (1958). She has also written a study, The South Africans (1926), and biographies of Cecil Rhodes (1933) and General Jan Smuts (1936).
