Boundaries extend W into White Mt. Natl. Forest. Nursery crops,
vegetables, apples; cattle, poultry; dairying; timber. Mfg. (steel
fabrication; fabricated metal prods., bottled water, bldg. materials,
electronics, lumber, pulp, paper). In a heavily forested region, it
early became the site of pulp and paper mills. Seat of N.H. Technical
