Mexico, separated from gulf by narrow peninsula occupied by city of
Biloxi; c.17 mi/27 km long,
1 mi/1.6 km-3 mi/4.8 km
wide. Bridged bet. Biloxi and Ocean Springs (at entrance). Receives
Biloxi R. (45 mi/72 km long) from NW, through
Big L. and Back Bay of Biloxi; also Tchoutacabouffa R. from
NE, Bernard Bayou from W.
