Grand cos., Utah (UT), and Mesa and Garfield cos., Colo. E part roughly
parallels Colo. R. 18 mi/29 km to NW of it, at
edge of Grand Valley; W part roughly parallels Price R. to NE of it.
Form S limit of East Tavaputs Plateau in E Utah and of Roan Plateau in
W Colo. Remnants of Basket-Maker culture have been found near
cliffs in Carbon co. Roan Cliffs are parallel
escarpment to NW extending NE into Colo.
