olives, prunes, peaches; barley, corn, oats, wheat, beans; cattle);
timber. Gold, silver, platinum. Extensive logging (pine, fir, cedar).
Processing industries (lumber and rice milling, olive oil extracting,
fruit canning). Parts of Lassen (NE) and Plumas (E) natl. forests; L.
Oroville reservoir and State Recreation Area (Feather R.) in E center;
Thermalito Afterbays Reservoir W of Oroville, in S center, for
