Bayou (Cypress R. in Texas), 15 mi/24 km NNW
of Shreveport, La.; c.15 mi/24 km long;
32°42'N 93°55'W. Max. capacity 755,000 acre-ft. Extends W into
Texas, forming part of Marion/Harrison co. border. Formed by
Caddo Dam (47 ft/14 m high;
earth-construction), built (1971) for flood control. Callo L. State
Park (Texas) at W end.
