tomatoes); cattle raising. Sand and gravel quarrying. Hunting
(waterfowl, pheasant, deer). Tehama Colusa Canal (irrigation) passes
N-S through center of co.; East Park Reservoir (Stony R.) in NW;
Colus-Sacramento River State Recreation Area in NE, N of Colusa.
Includes part of Mendocino Natl. Forest (NW); Sacramento Natl. Wildlife
Refuge (N); Delevan Natl. Wildlife Refuge in NE, Colusa Natl. Wildlife
Refuge in E center. Formed 1850.
