Russellville, at city limit; c.40 mi/64 km
long; 35°15'N 93°10'W. Max. capacity of 486,200 acre-ft. Big Piney
Creek forms N arm. Formed by Dardanelle Lock and Dam, built (1969) by
the Army Corps of Engineers for navigation and hydroelectric
generation.
