extends into Front Range of the Rocky Mts., including part of Pike
Natl. Forest; remainder of co. on W edge of Great Plains. Drained by
Plum and Cherry creeks. Agr. (wheat, oats, fruit, vegetables; cattle);
timber. NW corner has experienced some urbanization from Denver area to
N. Castlewood Canyon State Park in E; Rosborough State Park in NW.
