Originally developed as a trade center for agr., whiskey, and tobacco,
the city now manufactures a variety of prods. (automotive parts, glass
packaging equip., organic pigment, flooring insulation materials,
magnets, fuses, adhesives, men's slacks, motor controls, rubber belts,
metal tanks, wooden kitchen cabinets, freight car bearings, steel guard
rails, crushed limestone, telephone cables). Addington Field airport to
W. Points of interest include an old church (1789); the Lincoln
Heritage House, built by Thomas Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln's father
c.1800; a restored stagecoach inn that was built c.1825, now a
