boundary. Cattle, sheep, hogs, llamas; potatoes; hay, wheat, barley,
oats. Forest industries; gold, talc, phosphate; mfg., commerce,
tourism. Missouri R. formed in NW, near Three Forks, by junction of
Gallatin R. with Jefferson and Madison rivers. Parts of
Gallatin Natl. Forest in all of S ½ and in NE. Part
of Gallatin Range in E; includes Mt. Blackmore
(10,154 ft/3,095 m). Lee Metcalf Wilderness
and Gallatin-Porcupine Wildlife Management Area in S central. Hebgen L.
