Grutas de Juxtlahuaca
(GROO-tahs dai hoosh-tlah-HWAH-kah), a
national park, in central Guerrero, Mexico,
6 mi/10 km S of Chilpancingo de los Bravo.
These caves have walls decorated with 3,000-year-old Olmec-style
paintings. There are also unusual geological formations and underground
ponds, which support myriad blind creatures. It takes 5 hours to
complete the tour of these caves.
