7 sq mi/18.1 sq km), W of San
Angel (Alvaro Obregon), Mexico, suburb of
Mexico City on Mexico Highway 15. This park is locally called La
Marquesa. The battle of Monte de las Cruces took place here in the 19th
cent. It was an important battle in the War of Independence. There are
picnic sites, a trout hatchery, and a lake here.
