Los Marmoles
(los MAR-mo-les), national park (
75 sq mi/194 sq km), in NW
Hidalgo, Mexico, on Mexico Highway 85 N of Zimapan. Has natural
springs and a large canyon (San Vicente). The forest terrain includes
oak, pine, fir, and walnut trees. The park is underdeveloped and has no
visitor facilities. Named for large marble outcrops.
