Continental Divide, on border bet. Glacier and Flathead cos., NW Mont.,
at Summit, on SE border of Glacier Natl. Park, and
50 mi/80 km SW of Cut Bank. Nearby are Lewis
and Clark (NE) and Flathead (SW) natl. forests. Discovered 1889 by John
F. Stevens, the pass is now crossed by U.S. Highway 2 and Burlington
Northern RR.
