84°22'W. The site is run by the Natl. Park Service and is located on
Auburn Ave. in downtown Atlanta. Dr. King was born, reared, and buried
here. The MLK center contains Dr. King's gravesite, his church (the
Ebenezer Baptist Church), Dr. King's boyhood home, Freedom Hall, the
Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, and a
visitors center. Authorized 1980.
