a resort area with numerous lakes; contains part of Amer. Legion State
Forest in N and a sect. of Nicolet Natl. Forest in E corner. Lumbering;
dairying and farming (mostly brans) on cutover forest land. Bearskin
State Trail (N-S) in W part. Drained by Wisconsin R. Formed 1885.
