poultry). Was 1st settled town in Mass. by Pilgrims (1620). Historical
sites include: Plymouth Rock (1st landing of Pilgrims), Mayflower II,
Plymouth Plantation, Cranberry World Visitor Center. Formed 1685.
Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant (initial criticality June 16, 1972)
4 mi/6.4 km SE of Plymouth; uses cooling water
from Cape Cod Bay, and has a max. dependable capacity of 670 MWe.
