by Rio Grande, Rio Chama, and Rio Brazos; borders in N on Colo. Part of
Jicarilla Indian Reservation extends W center; parts of Santa Fe Natl.
Forest in S and SE; parts of Carson Natl. Forest in NW and NE;
Continental Divide runs N-S through W center; San Juan Mts. in NE;
range of Rocky Mts. in NE; Indian pueblos of Pueblo Indians in SE; also
San Juan and part of Santa Clara Indian Reservation in SE. San Juan R.
(Navajo L. Reservoir) borders co. in NW corner; Navajo L. State Park
(Sims Unit) on shore. Heron L. and El Vado L. state parks in center.
