Elizabeth Parish, E by Trelawny Parish. Largely hilly, it has fertile
valleys along its small rivers, where bananas are principally grown.
Produces also sugarcane, honey; goats. Montego Bay, 3d-largest city of
the isl. and home of the Sangster Inn, is the leading cruise-shipping
port and trading and processing center in the W. Its many seaside
resorts creating a thriving tourism industry. Doctor's Cave is known
for its curative effects. Other centers are Montpelier,
Cambridge, Catadupa, and Anchovy, all along Jamaica RR.
