Yaguajay
(yah-gwuh-HEI), town, Sancti Spiritus prov.,
central Cuba, near N coast, on RR, and
20 mi/32 km SE of Caibarien; 22°20'N
79°14'W. Agr. center (sugarcane, tobacco; cattle). Nearby are the
sugar mills of Obdulio Morales (NW) and Simon Bolivar
(NNE). At Judas Point (8 mi/12.9 km NE) are
well-known caverns.
