SPECIES: Lycopodium alpinum | Alpine Clubmoss
GENERAL DISTRIBUTION : Alpine clubmoss is a circumboreal species. It is distributed in North America south to northern Washington, northwestern Montana, Quebec, and Nova Scotia [4,10]. Occurrence in Glacier National Park: near Hidden Lake Overlook and east end of Lower Snyder Lake [8]. It is also an indicator of moderately dry or fresh soils and soils medium-rich in nitrogen [6].
