TAXONOMY : 
The currently accepted scientific name of wild hollyhock is Iliamna
rivularis (Dougl.) Greene [10,11,30]].  A typical variety with
five-lobed to seven-lobed, cordate leaves and I. r. var. diversa (Nels.)
Hitchc. with three-lobed to five-lobed, truncate leaves are recognized
[11,12].
