SPECIES: Lupinus sericeus | Silky Lupine
FIRE ECOLOGY OR ADAPTATIONS :
Silky lupine has a deep root system and sprouts from the caudex
following disturbance [24,35]. Seeds are stored in the soil and
germinate on mineral soil in full sun or partial shade. Stored seeds
may be 100 percent viable [20,35].
