GENERAL BOTANICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
Mountain bladderwort is a submersed plant that creeps along the water
bottom. It has slender stems and leaves up to 1 inch (0.5-2 cm ) long.
The winter buds are ovoid or ellipsoid and 5 to 7 mm long. The
zygomorphic flower is spurred with a yellow corrolla [3].

SITE CHARACTERISTICS :

including ponds, bogs, swamps, and lakeshores [3,7,10].

SEASONAL DEVELOPMENT :
Mountain bladderwort flowers in July and August in the Northwest [3] and
from early June to early August in the Northeast [7].
