GENERAL DISTRIBUTION : 
Table Mountain pine is widespread in the Blue Ridge and
Valley-and-Ridge provinces of the Appalachian Mountains from central
Pennsylvania to northern Georgia.  Outlying populations occur in
monadnocks of the Piedmont region [2,19].
