GENERAL DISTRIBUTION :
Mountain-fern moss occurs from Greenland to Alaska, south to North
Carolina, and west to Oregon and California. It also occurs in the West
Indies, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand [9,14,16].
