GENERAL DISTRIBUTION :
Purple pinegrass occurs from Greenland to Alaska, and south to
California in the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. It also occurs east to
Quebec and south to Colorado through the Rocky Mountains
[12,14,17,18,23].
