GENERAL DISTRIBUTION : 
Creeping snowberry has a very limited range, from southern, coastal
British Columbia south to southern California and from Washington east
to northern Idaho [15,16,24,33].  Distribution of the varieties are as
follows [15]:

                var. acutus - Sierra Nevada Mountains and southern
                              Cascade Mountains
                var. mollis - cismontane California
