GENERAL DISTRIBUTION : Catclaw acacia is common over much of the northern Chihuahuan, Sonoran, and southern Mojave deserts. It occurs in southern and western Texas, southern New Mexico, southern and central Arizona, southern Nevada, extreme southwestern Utah, southeastern California, and northern Mexico [33].
