Poland NATURAL RESOURCES
Poland's rapid postwar industrialization was supported
by a
combination of readily available natural resources,
especially
economically important minerals. After the era of
communist
economics and politics ended in 1989, however, industrial
policy
makers contemplated major changes in the balance of
resource
consumption.
